Thousands of deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing consumers are reviewing businesses across the country. Their acquaintances, co-workers, family and friends are also invited to post reviews from the perspective of one with firsthand experience. Our reviewers are individuals who possess a keen sense of what makes a business deaf-friendly. Most reviews will be locally focused, since a central requirement is that these reviews discuss in-person interactions.

To get a feel for our reviewer demographic, the 2011 deaffriendly Consumer Survey found that 80% of responder households earn over $90,000 in annual income and more than 60% of responders have at least a Bachelor’s degree. This translates to lots of dollars from Web-savvy consumers who rely greatly on peer feedback and word of mouth to make their spending decisions.
